It's the Rueb's 25th anniversary this week. Grundy Burgers can be had for $1.65 (click center image) through Friday so tonight I went down and had one. Two. Okay, three.

While many downtown Northfield businesses have come and gone during the past quarter century, the corner of Fifth and Division Streets has remained a bastion of satisfaction for those in search of a good brew and an even better burger.

The Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual holiday social here at the Rueb tonight. Among the featured schmoozers:

The Big Wu concert was a great success. The Upstairs Rueb was packed. Thanks to Down Lo and MJG Productions for helping this happen. We've just uploaded a new photo gallery with some pictures we took of the concert.

The band last played at the Rueb 'N' Stein in '99, and is now coming home to Northfield to play next Thursday. The band formed at St. Olaf in 1991 and has been playing together ever since. According to the Big Wu website, some former band mates will be appearing for this event.
